Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, high-trust relationships with key referral sources, including hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and physicians.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive regional marketing and sales plans to drive admissions and increase market share, adjusting strategies based on market analysis and competitor activity.
- Referral & Admissions Cycle: Manage the entire admissions pipeline, from initial inquiry/referral to a smooth transition into the facility, including conducting clinical assessments of potential residents to ensure the facility can meet their needs.
- Community Engagement: Plan and execute community outreach programs, educational seminars, tours, and networking events to raise awareness of facility services and build a positive public image.
- Mentorship & Support: Provide support, training, and mentorship to facility-level admissions and marketing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and brand standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), referral data, and market trends to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with facility administrators and the interdisciplinary team to align marketing initiatives with operational goals and ensure exceptional customer service.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Proven success (2-3+ years preferred) in healthcare marketing, business development, or admissions, preferably within a skilled nursing, post-acute, or hospital setting.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the skilled nursing admissions process and an understanding of patient insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care guidelines.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse stakeholders (patients, families, staff, and medical professionals).
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and general office software is also required.
