We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. In this critical role, you will help oversee daily nursing operations within our skilled nursing environment and ensure exceptional, person-centered care. Your leadership in nursing administration and clinical supervision will support quality improvement, resident outcomes, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Administrator in managing daily nursing operations across multiple departments or units
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including managers and direct care providers
• Develop, review, and update individualized care plans
• Oversee documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA,
• Medicare, and state regulations
• Lead quality assurance initiatives related to MDS assessments and care planning
• Promote a culture of compliance, confidentiality, and high-quality care

Qualifications

• Proven experience in long-term care settings
• Supervisory or management experience in healthcare
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Ohio RN license in good standing
