Description
We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager with a background in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living to lead and manage our organization’s digital presence. This is a newly created role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms to enhance brand awareness, support census growth, and strengthen recruitment efforts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Manage all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Create original, compliant content including written posts, graphics, photography, and short-form video
• Coordinate and highlight resident life, team culture, community engagement, and organizational initiatives
• Monitor online reputation and respond appropriately to engagement and inquiries
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics including engagement, reach, lead generation, and brand growth
• Collaborate with leadership to align messaging with occupancy and recruitment objectives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards in all communications
• Stay current with digital marketing trends and best practices within Long Term Care.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3–5 years of social media management experience
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care marketing required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategy and execute content independently
• Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills
• Experience with analytics tools and social media management plat-forms
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance considerations in marketing
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Experience supporting census growth or recruitment initiatives through digital campaigns
