We are seeking a hands-on, team-oriented RN for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role. This critical position supports the Director of Nursing (DON) and provides leadership in infection control, wound management, staffing, and resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Infection Prevention & Control Program in collaboration with the DON.
• Establish routines and workflows with the new wound care vendor.
• Assist with ongoing survey readiness and care plan compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation every other weekend with the DON.
• Support staffing stability through floor coverage, staff coaching, and engagement.
• Support QAPI, recruitment, retention, and staff engagement.
• Utilize PointClickCare (PCC) for documentation and communication.

Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Ohio.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, state regulations, survey processes).
• Comfortable with bedside care, passing medications, and assisting aides.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and clinical assessment skills.
