Working closely with the Corporate Sales and Marketing team and the Executive Director, the Executive Sales Director will focus on occupancy growth and developing the sales team to consistently perform at the highest level. The responsibilities of this position include oversight of the sales team, including hiring, training and development, counseling, and performance evaluations. Additionally, the role involves delivering training on sales techniques, policies and procedures, and development of site-specific marketing plans and budget.

Qualifications

  • Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum of 10 years’ sales experience with 3 years’ demonstrated leadership and management of multiple salespeople.
  • Previous senior living industry experience is preferred.
  • Proven individual sales experience as a top producer is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Must possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable.
  • Proficiency in all forms of communication, verbal and written, including public speaking and concept presentation for outreach and community relations.
  • Ability to motivate staff by creating an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic work environment.
  • Must be able to prioritize work and stay focused on objectives while meeting deadlines and goals.
  • High level of financial acumen.
  • Ability to train and develop on the individual needs of each salesperson to drive sales performance.
